Founder’s Story
I’m Huss, and I grew up in Melbourne surrounded by family, mates, and a whole lot of small business hustle. I’ve always believed in backing the local guy. Whether it was my mate's café, my cousin's mechanic shop, or my own ventures, I’ve seen the highs and lows that come with running a business. But one thing that always got to me was how easily a couple of bad Google reviews could wipe out years of good work.
I watched mates lose sleep over unfair ratings not because they weren’t delivering great service, but because someone had a bad day or left a fake review out of spite. Meanwhile, the happy customers who loved the service? They rarely left a review. Not because they didn’t want to help they just forgot or didn’t think it mattered.
But it does matter. In today’s world, your Google reviews are your reputation. They’re what people see first. They affect how high you rank on Google Maps. They influence whether someone chooses you or your competitor. And for many small businesses, they can make or break your week.
That’s why I started Aussie Reviews — to give small business owners a fair go.
